Liverpool, UK - 02/12/17

We now find ourselves in a major city, home for many inventions and innovations as well as art galleries, museums, landmarks and unique architecture. Liverpool was the first city to contain railways, transatlantic steamships, municipal trams and electric trains as modes of mass transit. It also contains the first railway tunnels in the world. It is a city famous for its sports, specially Soccer(football) and Horse racing. The so called Grand National horse race takes place annually at Aintree Racecourse on the outskirts of this multicultural, ethnically diverse city. We arrive by the Pier Head, a floating pier by the banks of Mersey River. - "Liverpoole is one of the wonders of Britain ... In a word, there is no town in England, London excepted, that can equal for the fineness of the streets, and the beauty of the buildings." (Daniel Defoe)... Of course we can't talk about Liverpool without mentioning the Beatles! The city was home to the most famous band in the world, and now has a homage building called The Beatles Story, which we're heading to right now!

We got over the psychic attacks from the Warrington City Hall and finally reached Liverpool within 20 hours!

Absorbing many beautiful sights. - From top left: The Pier Head (our first stop) and the Mersey River Ferry; St George's Hall and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool Catholic Cathedral; Liverpool Anglican Cathedral; Georgian architecture in Canning; Prince's Dock

A view from the Cathedral, open daily all year round from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Our little tour around the Pier. From the cathedral to the Museum, proceeding to the Exhibition center and then finally to the Beatles Story building, the pinnacle of this stop.

The city was home to the most famous band in the world, and now has a homage building called The Beatles Story, which we're heading to right now!

We finally got the The Beatles Story building, the party is overwhelmed with joy and nostalgia. We decide to stop for a while and sing some Beatles songs while exploring the city better.
